Prepare for presentation FYP2
Objective : To make a poster and ready the prototype for project demo.
Result : Poster are in the process of making. Prototype is already built in PCB and ready to put in cases.
Next Week : Final Report progression continued. focus on chapter 4 and chapter 5.

W8 - 13 (21/04/2013)
Assemble and Combining - Coding / PCB etching + move in circuit from Breadboard to PCB
Objective : This week to finish the hardware and software part and focusing on presentation and documentation. To construct circuit on PCB board, so about 3 board: Arduino UNO, power supply and sensor.
Result : The hardware are almost complete, only one component left (integrated switching regulator). Arduino UNO coding still need to be fix to be function correctly. The most important is arduino UNO can be burn anytime.
Next Week : Prepare for FYP2 presentation

Sensor circuit, arduino microcontroller circuit. (the picture for the circuit will be update soon)
Objective : To finish constructing the sensor circuit and also to determined the connection for the arduino microcontroller.
Result : The sensor circuit is completed with the use of freescale mpx2050gp pressure sensor and others circuit are still in progress. Required air pump motor and solenoid valve for controlling air pressure (waiting for component availability)
Next Week : [If possible will put the completed parts of the circuit on PCB board] Working a little bit on the final report progress and finding the required components for project circuitry.

W6 - 13 (01/04/2013)
Constructing power supply circuit
Objective : the circuit for sensor needed about 5 Volt to work correctly so a power supply circuit with voltage regulator +5V and -5V will be design
Result : In Progress ... will be show together with sensor circuit to test its capability
Next Week : Will be focus on microcontroller and motor/valve circuit plus coding entirely ..

W5 - 13 (24/03/2013)
Design, construct and testing the sensor circuit (FYP2)
Objective :
Doing a lab session to test sensor circuit
1. to test the sensor range, sensitivity and capability. (in progress)
2. the input signal is amplified using the op-amp AD620 and another two op-amp OPA277
3. the output signal taken from each end of op-amp and dc coupler
Result :
Still in progress: reason. needed motor and valve circuit, inflatable cuff, microcontroller circuit.

W4 - 13 (12/03/2013)
Design and Construct the circuit for BP monitor.
Objective : to build the full circuit system for Portable BP monitor.
Result : [in progress] the circuit is separated by 3 parts : sensing, power supply and circuit controller (MCU).
Next Week : Still on testing the sensor circuit

Objective : Constructing Sensor Circuit
Schematic Diagram (Part1 - Sensor)
Honeywell Pressure Sensor
Board Mount
: Low Pressure Sensors
: Basic NBP
NBPDANN015PGUNV
The function of this circuit is to amplify and filter the analog signal received from the transducer and then send the signal to ADC to be converted.
Result: Still in progress.
